Judging Reminders!
Hey everyone,
We hope your projects are going well. We wanted to send out some reminders as submissions are due in less than 2 hours!
Important Logistics
First off, judging will take place starting 3:45 in JCC 280. Tables will be set up circling the room, and you may choose any table to present your project. There will be one judge per table at a time, so please wait patiently for judges to finish scoring and seeing other projects! Take a look at the judging criteria on the Devpost to see what the judges are looking for.
Presentations
The presentation does not have to be a video, but this format can be useful if you are presenting something that may need a video playing. It can be any presentation format (HTML, Slides, Canva, etc) that you may see fit and that you think pairs best with your analyses!
IPYNB submission
The .ipynb submission is meant to help you arrive at conclusions and exploration, and to supplement your visuals with an actual coded implementation! It will not be looked at closely by the judges; however, they may ask to see your code and implementation, or you might think it will help if they see it.
Lastly
If you are in JCC 280, we would really appreciate it if you could step out before 3:30, so that the staff can have some time to set up the room and prepare for judging. We really appreciate your help.
Questions?
If you have any questions about the datathon, please ask in the #q-and-a channel on Slack, or talk to any available staff.
